The app is empty.
Meso reads recordings made by the other Meso apps. Open one of them — Meso Terra or Meso Lux — turn on Contribute to Meso in its settings, and record something. It will appear here to describe.
What is a description for?
Sensor data on its own is just numbers. Saying what it was — the vehicle, the surface, the weather, where the phone was — is what makes it meaningful later. Meso is where you add that.
What do the suggestions do?
They propose a value based on what was measured, or on a note you wrote. Nothing is ever filled in for you: a suggestion becomes a description only when you tap it.
What does “apply to similar” do?
It offers a description you already wrote to other recordings that look like it, so you do not describe the same commute twenty times. Each one is still yours to accept or skip, and reused descriptions stay marked as reused.
Does anything get uploaded?
No. Meso has no network access at all. Everything it reads and writes stays on your device. Read the full privacy policy.
Can I get my data out?
Yes — the corpus view exports a CSV of every session with its description and derived metrics.
