Meso Topo
Support
The app says my device has no LiDAR.
Meso Topo needs the LiDAR sensor, found on iPhone 12 Pro and later Pro models, and iPad Pro from 2020 onward. There is no way to measure a space this way without it.
Why is there no camera picture?
Because the app measures a space rather than photographing one. The LiDAR sensor and camera are used only to work out geometry. No photo or video is captured, shown, saved, or sent anywhere.
How do I scan a room properly?
Tap the dot and walk the space slowly, pointing the phone at the floor, the walls and the ceiling in turn. The measurements fill in as enough of the room is seen. Rushing leaves gaps.
Is the floor area the same as the room's size?
It is the floor you actually covered, which for an L-shaped or awkward room is more useful than the rectangle it would fit inside. Walk the whole floor for a complete figure.
How accurate is the ceiling height?
Usually within a couple of centimetres once the floor and ceiling have both been seen properly. It is worth checking against a tape measure the first time, so you know what to expect.
Does the app track me?
No analytics, no accounts, no servers, and no images. Read the full privacy policy.
